Management
Since January 2025, IHM MICROB’UP and inIdEx MICROB’EX have shared a joint management team. This is led by the project’s scientific director, Olivier TENAILLON, supported by a steering committee composed of 20 researchers representing most of the community’s units. This committee meets monthly to monitor the progress of the MICROB’EX project and ensure the scientific coordination of the MICROB’UP Institute.
Within the committee, seven members form the board, a small team of researchers who are particularly involved in the life of the institute. Their role is to ensure optimal responsiveness by handling urgent requests and decisions between steering committee meetings.
The steering committee also relies on a scientific advisory committee, which is called upon to provide an outside perspective and independent expertise on major scientific decisions.
